Community Tail Light Clinic

Volunteers from the Middle Georgia chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America will provide and replace brake lights for area residents completely free of charge on April 20 from 12PM to 4PM. This free event is the first of a planned series of direct actions organized to benefit the greater community. This public service aims to help the most vulnerable Perry workers and residents to retain access to reliable transportation, prevent unnecessary police stops, expensive tickets and fines, and possible court appearances.

By reducing the opportunity for police stops that disproportionately affect vulnerable populations, the Middle Georgia DSA works for its vision of a more just, humane, and free society.

NOTE: Recipients of services will be asked to sign a waiver at the event to waive the Middle Georgia Democratic Socialists of America Community Tail Light Clinic of any liability in the event of damage to a vehicle. Additionally, if we do not have your bulb type on-hand we will happily install lights that the vehicle owner purchases at the auto parts store the event is being held at.
